WROCLAW Wroclaw's atmosphere and urban features have been shaped by three cultures, which were the ruling political power there in successive periods: the Polish, Czech and German. In the 11th century Wroclaw was the westernmost part of the Kingdom of Poland. In 1526 the region passed from the Jagiellonian Empire to the Habsburgs, under the Crown of Bohemia. In the early 18th century as an outcome of an Austro-Prussian war, Silesia was incorporated into Prussia. In 1945 the region was restored to the Polish State.

CZESTOCHOWA  Poland's spiritual capital. Located on the trail called the "Eagles' Nests Trail" - the string of castles and ruins of castles atop the rocky crags of the Krakow and Czestochowa Jura. The town is known for the famous Paulite Monastery of Jasna Góra. On 9th August 1382, the Monastery and Church of the Brothers of St. Paul the First Hermit (Paulines) was founded here, at a hill called Jasna Gora. The painting of the Blessed Virgin, the "Black Madonna" preserved here is the destination of numerous pilgrimages.

PIESKOWA SKALA CASTLE and PARK (Pieskowa Rock) is located in the valley of river Prądnik, 27 km north of Kraków, within the boundaries of the Ojców National Park. Pieskowa Skała is famous for its Renaissance castle built by King Kazimierz The Great in the 1st half of the 14th century as part of the defensive chain of castles called Orle Gniazda (Eagles Nests) along the plane of Jurrasic Rock Upland extending north-west from Kraków to the city of Częstochowa.

KRAKOW  A looking glass for Polish and European tradition. Picturesquely set overlooking the Vistula River, Krakow with a history going back over a thousands years, has been the focal point of science, culture and art in Poland. Beautiful buildings, squares and spires that it has,have been recognized by UNESCO and given the rare honor of being classified as one if the twelve most precious architectural gems in the world.  A host of monuments of Mediaeval, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture, an old University (founded l364) and the beautiful Castle of Wawel. The heart of Krakow buzzes to the sound of music and chatter with visitors and locals alike filling the bars, pubs and cafes that line its cobbled streets.

Nowa Huta - founded in 1949 and centered on Poland's first integrated steelworks. You will see with its specific architecture from communisms.Central Square,Mogiła  former village with the Monastery like an example of sacral architecture   preserved  very close to grey blocks for inhabitants.

Kazimierz district a former old Jewish town with historic synagogues: the 15th-century Old Synagogue (housing the Museum of Judaism), the 16th-century Remuh Synagogue, and the 17th-century Isaac Synagogue. Krakow is a place you will keep coming back to, each time to discover new objects of startling beauty.

DAY 3,
Friday : WROCLAW- Czestochowa- Pieskowa Skala -KRAKOW
After breakfast check out and depart South-East for Kraków (280 km dist.)

En route visit Czestochowa Jasna Gora Paulite Monastery- Black Madonna Shrine.

DAY4, Saturday : KRAKOW

After breakfast morning sightseeing of Krakow "Three Faces of Krakow" Nowa Huta, Former Jewish District Kazimierz, Old City. Duration 5hrs.. St’Mary’s Basilica, Royal Cathedral, Wawel Castle, Synagogue.

AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU Memorial Museum (5,5 - 6 hours excursion)

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Museum was established in 1947 by the Polish government on the site of the largest Nazi concentration camp. From 1942 it also became one of the biggest extermination camps for the European Jews. In 1979 the site of the former concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau was entered on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

  • Afternoon Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour 3,5hours excursion

WIELICZKA SALT MINE (3-hour excursion; 15 km from Krakow; 1,5-hour subterranean walk)
In 1978 the Wieliczka Salt Mine was entered on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Visitors take a walk of 2,5 km through 3 levels in the Salt Mine down to 136 meters below ground level, through chambers and passageways excavated in the 17th century. On the way visitors see underground chambers and chapels hewn out in the salt rock, statues of saints sculpted in salt, and saline lakes.Unforgetable memories.
