MALBORK

Malbork was founded in the 13th century by the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights, whose power was crushed at the biggest single military engagement in Mediaeval Europe, the Battle of Grunwald. Malbork is noted for its Gothic castle, Malbork Castle, one of the most striking in Europe.
